Our Team

Dr Ng is a urologist in private practice, with 30 years of working experience. His practice interests include:

1. Treatment of urinary tract cancers
2. Laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery including robotic surgery
3. Treatment of prostate problems
4. Treatment of overactive bladder

Outside of work, he is actively involved in professional organisations on behalf of doctors and patients. He is the current president of the Singapore Medical Association.

1994: Dr Ng obtained his medical degree from National University of Singapore (MBBS)
1999: He obtained postgraduate surgical qualification from Edinburgh (FRCS Edinburgh)
2000: He obtained postgraduate surgical qualification from Glasgow (FRCS Glasgow)
2000 to 2004: He underwent Advanced Surgical Training in Urology in Singapore
2004: He was Associate Consultant at the Dept of Urology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital
2005: He took up a fellowship programme in urologic cancer surgery at the University of Western Ontario, Canada
2006: He was Consultant at the Dept of Urology, Tan Tock Seng Hospital in 2006
2009: He was Honorary General Secretary of the Singapore Urological Association
2010: He joined the Academy of Medicine as a Fellow
2010: He started private practice at CK Ng Urology & Minimally Invasive Surgery
2012 to 2017: He was Representative of the Mt Elizabeth Novena Urology, Renal Medicine, O & G Special Interest Group
2013 to 2015: He was Honorary Secretary of the Mt Elizabeth Novena Hospital Medical Advisory Board
2013 to present: He is a council member of the Singapore Medical Association
2016: He initiated the targeted prostate biopsy programme in Mt Elizabeth Novena Hospital
2019 to present: He is a member of the Joint Committee on Specialist Training
2019 to present: He is a board member of the Chapter of Urologists
2019: He was Honorary Treasurer of the Singapore Medical Association
2020 to 2023 He was the 1st Vice-President of the Singapore Medical Association
2023: He is the President of the Singapore Medical Association
